Welcome to Navaneetham Ayurveda Speciality Centre

A limited amount of cholesterol (a waxy substance) is required for the sustenance of our body – to make vitamin D, hormones required for the body, cell walls, bile salt to help digestion and more.  The required amount of cholesterol is produced by the liver in our body.  However, the problem is that cholesterol is abundant in many foods that we consume, especially ghee, cheese, oils, etc, and it is impossible to avoid all such foods that contain cholesterol.

Cholesterol, a kind of lipid, is transported through the blood vessels with the help of proteins.  Lipid and protein joins to become lipoprotein.  High-density lipoproteins (HDL) and low-density lipoproteins (LDL) are two types of cholesterol and LDL is the one which clogs blood vessels obstructing blood flow. This condition can lead to cardiac problems. Navaneetham has facilities to impart prescribed Ayurveda therapy to control cholesterol.
