Sinusitis and Nasal polyps are widespread afflictions that affect a good number of people. Though sinusitis is a simple case of infected and often swollen sinuses, the resultant pain and discomfort is unbearably severe.
Nasal polyps develop because or prolonged swelling of nasal passages. The swelling causes the blood vessels in the nose and sinuses to become porous which result in water buildup in the cells. The water accumulated heavy cells produce gravity pull in the cell tissue and polyps enlarge. Though minor nasal polyps will not cause any problems, the enlarged ones could block the nasal passages and will affect breathing.
